Land Sold for £8.5 million?

Minutes can now be viewed from our meeting on 28th February in St James the Less Church, Bishopbriggs.

We also recently received details of the sale of the land for Bishopbriggs Academy.
This has been taken from the Our Property website.
"2010-12-24 South Crosshill Road, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, G64 2NN
Commercial
£8,500,000 "

What we don't know if this was the sale of the land from the Council to Muse or from Muse to Morrisons, since we've been advised that they both happened on the same day.

  1. What Bishopbriggs needs is a Park'n'ride on the school site as they have extended the platform to allow Edinburgh trains to stop. This would be ideal for commuters from around the area to park and catching the train. Bringing a lot more customers to Bishopbriggs retailers. I know the Edinburgh trains don't stop now, but 'if you build it they will come'. Much like Haymarket.
